Port Rexton Brewing has released Ralph Pike’s Sour Belgian IPA, the winning beer from their Mystery Homebrew Challenge earlier in the year. Details from Port Rexton are included below, or surf over to the PRB Facebook Post! Thanks again to Port Rexton for putting off this event, and congrats to Ralph on a beer well brewed! Be sure to pick up a can and see for yourself.
At the beginning of the year, we held a PRB Mystery Homebrew Challenge where we chose the ingredients, and the rest was up to the participants. We’re stoked to release the winning beer, a Sour Belgian IPA proudly designed by Ralph Pike (in honour of his friend and mentor, Darryl), and brewed at PRB with his friends! This brew starts tart and finishes with a slight earthy bitterness. Backed by notes of citrus rind and tropical fruit, it packs a real punch with an ABV of 6.7%.
